Cairo – Mubasher: Tourah Portland Cement Co suffered net losses of EGP 151.97 million in the first half (H1) of 2020, down by 67% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 461.25 million.

Sales plummeted to EGP 83.8 million in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 473.2 million in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

During the first three months of 2020, the cement producer suffered net losses of EGP 64.92 million, up from EGP 50.9 million in the corresponding period in 2019.
